You do not want to miss the Seventh Annual Southern Pines Veterans Parade on Saturday, November 9th, 2019, at 10am in downtown Southern Pines.
What can you expect? The Veterans Parade rumbles with excitement ... literally! Hundreds of motorcycles open the parade on their way to the Veterans Memorial Wreath Laying in Carthage, NC. And look up! Vintage military aircraft of The Bandit Flight Team fly over and the precision Skydiving Angels from The Children of Fallen Heroes drop in, literally. You'll see (and hear) marching bands, ROTC groups, active-duty soldiers, boy scouts, girl scouts, fire trucks, antique vehicles and of course ... American Veterans. There are even a few surprises to delight kids of all ages.
Bring your kids, grandchildren, friends and neighbors to honor the men and women who have served in our US Armed Forces since WWII. The parade will proceed rain or shine. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter and Instagram for up to the minute updates on our Sixth Annual Veterans Parade!
If you know a veteran that would like to be in the parade, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would be privileged to honor our Gold Star and Blue Star families. You are invited to march in our parade or enjoy the parade from our designated VIP area across from the Sunrise Theater.
